FSUE NIIR meeting with Republic of Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication and LLC “Telta-TV”

The meeting between FSUE NIIR and Republic of Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication and LLC “Telta-TV” on the issue of organization of regional information and management network based on “NIIR-DTV” set-top-box was held on 18th of February, 2010. The presentation of project for organization of regional information-management network based on DTV distribution network which has no analogs till the present day was shown during the negotiations. This project is the entirely domestic development which has a capibility of imbedding technological bases to provide mass services on hardware and software levels.

Vilyam Saryan, FSUE NIIR Deputy Chef Engineer, reported at this meeting about possibility to use digital broadcasting network to provide additional telecommunication services based on digital multimedia set-top-box “NIIR-DTV”.
