FSUE NIIR participation in the "ITU TELECOM WORLD 2009" Exhibition and ForumFSUE NIIR being a large scientific center in the field of radiocommunication and broadcasting systems for civic purposes has participated in the Exhibition and Forum "ITU TELECOM WORLD 2009" which took place in Geneva, Switzerland, on 5-9 of October. The ITU TELECOM WORLD is the top event in global sector of information and communication technologies, organized by International Telecommunication Union. The exhibition represents achievements of leading international communication operators, service providers, hardware and software suppliers and manufacturers. At the World Exhibition, FSUE NIIR presented developments being in high demand for today, i.e. “NIIR-DTV” (multimedia subscriber set-top-box with extended service range); “Roscrypt-M” (3G conditional access system based on new hardware and software); digital demodulator SD DVB, and wireless ultra-wideband access system on the basis of dynamic chaos, jointly developed by NIIR and Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of RAS. At the World Forum, Prof. M. Krivosheev, Dr. Techn. Sc. and Honorary Chairman of ITU-R Study Group 6, NIIR Chief Scientist, made a report “New directions of International Standardization in digital TV broadcasting, aimed at information society development” at the final meeting devoted to “Future innovation: scientific and technological foundations”. Successful participation of FSUE NIIR in the "ITU TELECOM WORLD 2009" Exhibition confirmed our Institute’s high international prestige, and proper strategic profile being followed. |
