Meeting of Canadian and Russian business community representatives

Representatives of Canadian and Russian business communities have met in Moscow Government building on 8th of December 2009. The aim of that meeting was presentation and promotion of Québec province (Canada) companies into the Russian market. Among the participants were: Yury Luzhkov, Moscow Major; Jean Charest, Prime Minister of Quebec Province; Ralf Lisishin, Canadian Ambassador; Pierre Arcand, Minister of International Relations, other representatives of Canadian business community, and Valery Butenko, Director General of FSUE NIIR.

FSUE NIIR and MDA are actively cooperating within the frames of “Express” Project. The Contract for “Express-AM5” and “Express-AM6” on-board repeater design, development, fabrication, delivery and tests, signed on 23rd of October 2009 is an assertion of that cooperation.

Within the frames of this meeting, in the presence of Moscow Major Yuri Luzhkov and Prime Minister of Quebec province Jean Charest, Valery Butenko, Director General of FSUE NIIR and Marc Donato, Vice-president of MDA, Chief Manager, have signed the Memorandum on further development of fruitful cooperation.
