Contract between FSUE NIIR and IntespaceA Contract for preliminary design of Assembly, Integration and Test Center for SC communication and broadcasting payload has been signed by Valery Butenko, Director General of FSUE NIIR, and Franc Airoldi, President and Executive Director of Intespace on 30th of October 2009 in Moscow. Nowadays FSUE NIIR is an active participant in Russian Federal Space Program for the 2006 – 2015. This Contract, signed on 12th of August 2009 with the Russian public joint-stock company “ISS” for a design, development, fabrication, integration and testing of payload modules is an assertion of that participation. In this regard the top NIIR management decided to consider a possibility to construct the Payload Assembling, Integration and Tests Center based on NIIR’s industrial site. Intespace Company was invited to perform preliminary design of the Center. This company has unique 25-year experience in supporting design of Assembly and Test Centers for space agencies all over the world: NSPO (Taiwan), INPE (Brazil), IAI-MBT (Israel) and KGS (Kazakhstan). The construction of the Center is a necessary step for NIIR’s technical upgrading to compete in the production of up-to-date communication and broadcasting spacecraft payload modules. |
