THE DELEGATION FROM THE REPUBLIC OF CUBA PAYING A VISIT TO NIIR FSUE
The delegation from the Republic of Cuba, headed by Mr. Alberto Rodrigez Arufi, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications of the Republic of Cuba, visited NIIR FSUE on 19 January 2009. The delegation also included: Mr. Usimi Gonsalez Gonsalez – Council to the Minister; J. Luis Oliva Martin – AVANTE Co. Director General; Otto Dalcurt Sezar – representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; Roberto Del Puerto – Director of the National Informatization Bureau. Ms L.V. Urasova, Deputy Head of the Federal Communications Agency also participated in the talks. At the meeting the participants also continued to discuss organizational issues concerning the possible cooperation in the field of radio and information technologies. Several reports were made on the part of NIIR concerning the deployment of digital TV and the latest developments of the Institute in this field were presented.
