On 30 July 2007 Mark I. Krivosheev marked his 85th anniversary.
Mr. M.I. Krivosheev is a renowned scientist and expert in the field of television, he is also the Laureate of USSR and RF State Prizes, a Senior Researcher of the NIIR FSUE RTC on TV broadcasting and Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor.
Mr. Krivosheev’s name is connected with the establishment and development of TV broadcasting in this country and around the world. He was directly concerned with the development of over 150 international recommendations for TV broadcasting and communications which became the unitary world standards for television centers, terrestrial and satellite systems. M.I. Krivosheev turned out to be the first, who managed to bring digital TV to world standards.
Mr. Krivosheev received congratulation with the anniversary from the RF President Administration, State Duma of the RF Federal Council, Federal Council of the RF Federal Assembly, RF Industrial Trade Chamber, Moscow Government, Central Committee of the Trade Union of RF communications workers, different officials, foreign ones inclusive.
The gala event in NIIR dedicated to the 85th anniversary of M.I. Krivosheev was attended by officials, who came to congratulate him personally: Mr. L.D. Sagalayev, President of the National Association of TV and Radio Broadcasters; Mr. A.E. Krupnov, President of the Info-Communications Union; Mr. A.G. Lysenko, President of the International Academy of TV and radio Broadcasting; G.S. Gadiyan, President of the International Association of High Definition and Digital Motion Pictures; officials and representatives of the Agency on Protection of Cultural Heritage, of the RCC Executive Committee, Association of Cable TV and Radio Broadcasting, Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications, Moscow Research Institute of Television, CNIIS, VNIITR, OJSC Telecom, Moscow City Radio Transmission Center, Directorate for Distribution of Programs “Channel One”, MTUCI, and other organizations, colleagues and friends.
